This is the worst surgery in Teesside. The staff are rude and the doctors show no empathy whatsoever. My family doctor for 25 years and since the move to it’s new location this has gone down hill so much. Terrible experiences !

Absolutely terrible place. I can't begin to tell you how incompetent and uncaring the staff and doctors are. Nor how many times papers, such as correspondence from hospitals, gets lost. It is truly shocking. Talking to local residents is enlightening. Many people in the area think there might be a hidden policy to try & get rid of patients who they think take up more time. So if you have any illness or condition that requires a bit of extra input, you will likely have a battle getting decent care. It's like they've decided they only want the funding from the walking well. If you value your health, or that or your family, run as far as you can from this surgery.

Absolutely disgusting treatment and service. Impossible to get a second opinion as the doctors club together defensively instead of looking at the actual issue and providing a manageable way forward. Felt so scolded and humiliated by the second doctor that my low self esteem was on the floor after each consultation. Was prescribed new medication by the doctors at the medical centre only to discover when it was too late that they are highly addictive. As a former ex alcoholic now 7 plus years teetotal I am horrified to discover that the second doctor was issuing me with new addictive medicines. Majority of the reception staff are rude and unhelpful and the Practice Management does nothing to assist you, in fact they don't even understand or speak the English language and official medical letters are littered with spelling and grammar mistakes. Word of advice, do not make a formal un-anonymous complaint as thereafter the doctors club together defensively rather than helping with the real issue which is the medical condition that you have come in with. The doctors frequently tell you that they'll send an electronic prescription to the attached pharmacy and that you can go to collect it but then when you go into the pharmacy they tell you that no prescription has been received. You then have to go back into the medical centre, line up in a horrendous queue and then wait for 15 mins to 1 hour while the receptionists go back to the doctors to find out where the prescription is. Really sad and depressed about the way I have been treated each time, I am a human being with feelings and not someone who should be put down and scolded by the second doctor.
