Again,I’ve contacted the surgery to get an appointment with any doctor, to sort out the medication I’m receiving,as it’s extremely important, and again have an automaton repeating “phone back tomorrow at 8am”. I’m not sure what medication to take or when I should take it. This is not good, because until I see a doctor I don’t know what meds to take and whether they may be life saving or not? Receptionist’s are extremely rude, and patronising. They make any customer visiting the surgery feel like they are not wanted or are an inconvenience to the surgery. This surgery doesn’t appear to have any doctors working there? Extremely poor service from people who are meant to care for people. Very sad.

Doing something is better than nothing, which is what I’ve had for over 5 years now, nothing. Also, and it’s not all of them, get receptionists that know what they’re doing, and do training on customer relations. They’re so unbelievably rude.

Terrible service. Its absolutely a joke in there, trying to make an appointment,iam a high risk patient. They higher receptionist just to say call back tomorrow at 8am or we got no appointments for today. I've been on the phone since 8.01am today just for someone to say no appointments. She was very rude refused to give her name so i can make official complaint. You work for public service,YOU ARE OBLIGED TO GIVE YOUR NAME. Absolutely disgusting the way this clinic is operating for receptionists,while the doctors are doing excellent job. SHAME ON YOU WEST ROAD SURGERY.

Get better management to sort out appointments. Why can we make appointments easily now days.

Limited queue system for booking appointments in the morning, often just fully engaged. Excellent cleanliness, staff, and honest straight speaking advice at all stages. Just avoid Dr. Ukata at all costs. Every single other Doctor there is a delight and very knowledgeable. Especially: Dr. Palacin, Dr. Cordess, Dr. Kent, Dr. Oyeniyi

From the Receptionists to the Nurses and the Doctors, West Road Surgery is without doubt a shinning example of what a good surgery should be. The receptionists are always polite, friendly and do their utmost to help. The atmosphere of the practise is one of calm professionalism and engenders a feeling of confidence with both reception and ultimately the doctors themselves. I have had consultations with 4 doctors and 2 nurses here and would recommend all of them. There is definitely a feeling that they do actually care and you are not just a statistic. In the midst of all the complaints about the NHS and failing doctors, I feel very lucky to be able to say this is my practice. I would not hesitate to recommend West Road to anyone looking for a surgery.

Always find the staff and GP's ready to help in anyway they can. They take the time and effort to help and advise where possible. Its a real family practise and I feel very happy to trust them with mine and my families health issues.
