Leave a review...basically the team at the surgery and Doctors are great..however apparently a virtual receptionist has been put in place unfortunately she doesn't connect as maybe a human person might ... I rang the doctors regarding some new meds I had been on B12..I had swollen ankles etc .. the doctor did ring and left a message .The receptionist ( real one)rang me and said ring the surgery... Well that's when the adventure began... many occasions spoke with virtual Emma repeating the same things over and over again ...I rang the surgery many times ...no reply...I decided to try just before 5.o.k when there were 3or4 in line ...I thought hay!!!cracked it took me to number one yay!!!I'm getting someone to talk too( after all of this time I was hungry so went for a meal to burger king .. got back home my mobile was still at number one gone 6.o.k.. If this is the way West End surgery thinks its going to get more older people that need emergency care .and help.then shame on you for not being concerned.. This is one day later I asked a friend in Rosso just to pop his head into the surgery and see if there was somebody sitting at the reception ..there was ...can this be taken seriously as I'm sure elder people who have no mobile no Internet though Ai was a grade they got at school 70 years ago.

Twice we’ve rang for a chest infection and they didn’t even ask if it was urgent just said we’re full. Rang at 8am this morning for a toddler with a rash! Again no concern just said ring 111 if concerned. All this surgery do is try to palm you off on other healthcare workers. I rang when I knew I was having miscarriage I explained to the receptionist I need to speak to a dr and they kept saying I’ll get a phone call. Not one dr spoke to me that day. Awful service

I went to see a Dr about my physical health and wanted support in losing weight. I have IBS and didn't necessarily want medication if I could access dietician support. The Dr spoke about this and they suggested that I use medication to aid weight loss and they would refer to a dietician. The Dr suggested medication that the first contraindication was IBS, and I told him I would not take it. The Dr said they would prescribe the other medication in injection form and could use with my physical health conditions. The Dr sent my prescription to my pharmacy. I went to collect it and when I opened the bag saw it was the medication I was contraindicated for. When I got home I look through the nhs app and the entry from the gp stated "patient does not want to use abc and discussed def as most appropriate. Prescribed abc. What a waste of Time and money.

Very hard to get to speak to anyone at the clinic, receptionists think they are doctors and should not be asking what is wrong with patients and assessing patients on the telephone, receptionists grumpy, doctors not willing to see patients in person, can only get a quick in and out appointment and doctors are no help at all and very matter of fact about patients needs. Overall a very bad experience at all times, the clinic needs to be assessed properly and put on an alert as it is not providing the level of care that it should be.

Unable to get an appointment at anytime either early morning or during the day. It seems that the telephone is permanently put on hold in the morning so the reception staff don't have to answer it. Reception staff are unhelpful and abrupt and seem to not want to help at all. I believe that the doctors have told the reception staff not to accept patients due to the Covid19 outbreak.

You can ring and when lucky enough to get an appointment turn up and find that it is not the doctor you are seeing but the practice nurse. No disrespect to them as they work hard to qualify, but with complex needs it's a doctor I want and expect to see. When ordering prescriptions a lot of the time items are missing. Quality has definitely deteriorated since Dr Taneja left.

CQC need to investigate standards and procedures as care is declining. Doctor ignored my concern over pain I reported, not even recorded in my records. Getting appointments is made virtually impossible.
