There are a number of very good female GPs at this practice. It can be difficult to get an appointment to see them as they get booked up quickly, but I have always felt well-cared for, understood and that assessment and decisions were thorough and appropriate. I have lived in the area for a long time and the difficulty of getting an appointment with a preferred GP at the practice waxes and wanes. It perhaps also used to be a more innovative place with more new care initiatives going on. However, there is a website for appointments which is easy to use and great when a preferred doctor is available. The receptionists are professional and work hard to try to help patients get the access they want. There seem to be more male GPs available compared to the sex and age profile of the patients visiting and I wonder if with time the practice should consider appointing more female GPs or partners to match this need.
