This practice had no opportunity to go downhill, it’s always been a horrible experience. I have been a patient here for 9 years and the rot set in long before that. They do not even pretend to care about the patients. They can’t keep their staff, including new Doctors and the receptionist just tell you lies to get you off the phone or out of the practice. I have experienced so much anxiety because of them over the years but thisChristmas I was left in painful withdrawal from my prescribed meds for 6 days. No explanation! So today I vote with my feet. I’m taking myself off to register elsewhere. I suggest you do the same. They are a shambles.

Suggested improvements
Answer the phone. Prescribe requested meds Treat the reception staff like human beings. Be accountable Don’t hate the patients Provide minimum care DO YOUR JOBS

Avoid this surgery at all costs unless you enjoy spending hours on hold to get a call back appointment that the doctor doesn't keep. Since the back door Tory attack on NHS funds, this surgery has been reduced from a top rated service to a complete mess that is totally unusable. I have been with it for 32 years- since birth, but getting an appointment has become a harrowing experience, designed to test your sanity. It's not the staffs fault- they try to do their best. They are decent humans handed an impossible workload. However, as a patient it is near impossible to get care without commiting days of time to secure and receive a 10 minute telephone call. I have since moved surgery as I was suffering so badly from being medically neglected.

Suggested improvements
After 3 hours on hold, the music is akin to mental torture. I suggest it is silenced. I also suggest you have a text or msg service, so I can report when the doctor doesn't call. I also suggest you only book appointments you are prepared to keep.

On numerous times I’ve had appointments at wake green road surgery, however majority have been cancelled without my knowledge. Today I went in for a blood test, which had apparently been cancelled however the receptionist were great but could not understand why I didn’t receive a call to cancel my blood test (there wasn’t any call on the system to myself) I received a text message yesterday reminding me of my apt, but apparently this was cancelled . The woman who has apparently been dealing with my notes ect (who I won’t state due to data protection and confidentiality) was unknown to the staff at the surgery. I have booked numerous times off work for these appointments but they always seem to be cancelled. I suffer from sever anxiety and have to work myself up to these appointments. This is totally unacceptable and I think measures need to be put in place to prevent these things happening. Another patient who will be changing my Surgery once I am able to.

Waited for 2 Hours on the telephone queue. Abandoned call as I ran out of time to continue waiting. Only 4 callers had been dealt with prior to myself.Resorted to calling in at surgery, to be told 'yes' we are experiencing issues 'I will pass it on'. Only had results from a previous visit 2 months ago, not the most recent. No offer to chase up. contacted other health centre where test was done during Covid, cannot access wake green road surgery results. fair enough. chose to call Wake green again - caller number 9. why is system so behind?. To the point of being neglectful of my own health needs, I minimise my contact with the surgery, as the attempts to access service is most times impossible, and I'm assertive. I think the surgery voluntarily needs to put their hands up and accept their downfalls, and request special measures. Patients are being let down persistently. What about those poor people who don't possess the tenacity to persist? Previous reviewer commented on our attitudes would be different if we had to pay. We do, via our taxes.I happily pay, I'm not expecting a perfect system, but some substandard services should not continue. sadly the present standard of performance precedes Covid. suggestions: look to minimise caller waiting time.

Absolutely awful. Used to be ok but over the last 10 years has completely gone to pot. Avoid it like the plague.
