Thank you. The experience was very good. The nurse was very thorough and helpful
An ongoing issue has escalated and the receptionist I spoke to was very helpful, managing to get me a face-to-face appointment for the next day. At that appointment, the doctor was able to refer me to two other specialist services, the first of which I went to the following day. I’m always very impressed with the service I receive at the University Health Centre.
I made an online request and the staff at the health centre called me back promptly and advised me about the cause of my concern and what medication to use.
I was also booked for a smear tesr, which was done with respect and dignity.
Another issue was identified and the GP was called. It was clearly explained what was observed and an onward referral made. I felt satisfied with the reassuring and clarity of information.
GP shared information with other services and people without my consent, and caused more trauma than good. Had to argue to get the birth control I wanted rather than just taking the pill that I know I don't like. Got all my medication taken away without my consent.
The reception team is the best part of this gp surgery.
Nurse was very kind and assuring, I was nervous but she made me relax.
University Of Sussex Health Centre was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
