I had an appointment to have the IUD coil fitted and was very nervous about the procedure, but the nurses Jo Fawcett and Sara Cozens did the most amazing job of calming me down and reassuring me. Throughout the process they talked me through it and distracted me by asking me questions about other things. Jo Fawcett made the process quick and as painless as possible, giving me all of the information without overwhelming me, whilst Sara Cozens held my hand throughout. At one point I was getting very nervous and panicky, and she started to chat to me which completely took my mind off of it and made it far less painful and uncomfortable. I am so grateful to them for giving me such a good experience, and I think Sara Cozens is going to be an amazing nurse!

Excellent Surgery. Nurses and Dr Austera ( my GP) are very responsive, always go out of their way to help, involve you in decisions, and come across as genuinely caring. Working in healthcare myself I have come into contact with lots of GP practices and I genuinely think that this one is exceptional. Receptionists are approachable and efficient when delivering results, paperwork etc.

The Uni of Sussex Doctors is by far the best Doctors surgery I have ever been a part of. They are attentive, kind, understanding and do all they can to think of a solution. For example, I have had a Persistent cough and joe the nurse has made sure to check up on me frequently and do all they can to get to the bottom of it. I feel really cared for.

I have been at this surgery for nearly 4 years now. I have had a regular GP but I have seen others when she wasn’t in. Every nurse and doctor at this practice is understanding, easy to talk to and overall, amazing at their jobs. I have been with other GP surgeries in the past, and this is by far the best. They are very thorough and I have never had to wait a long time for an appointment/testing. It’s the perfect place for university students in particular as they take our concerns seriously. I really trust them and never feel let down.
