This was my 2nd visit to the health centre. I believe that at a university I shouldn't have to wait almost half a week to make an appointment. Drop-in hours are completely too full. Secondly, if I didn't ask the doctor particular questions before he ran out the door, he wouldn't have explained the prescription or what the next steps would be if that medication didn't work. You have to be your own advocate otherwise you'll be left in the dark as to what's going on. I would prefer to be given the entire picture as to what the diagnosis is before I have to inquire and ask. Lastly, the staff could be a bit warmer and friendly especially when patients can be dealing with a number of serious medical issues. A pleasant face always helps.
