I have previously had a mini stroke and while out shopping feared I may be having another one, I went straight into the surgery too see if I could be seen. I was feeling or looking well at all and within a minute or so, the young receptionist offered me a glass of water and sat me down, she managed to locate a doctor for me, despite her colleague who told me to just wait while she sent a message to duty doctor, Dr Colliers who was just about to go on a home visit, Took me straight in to assess me. Well done and thank you to the individuals at the Tudor practice who go the extra mile for their patients!

I rang to get an appt and was offered the opportunity to see the nurse practitioner Alison on the 8th April. What a lovely approach she has with patients, immediately engaging with me and making me feel at ease. She was able to give me a thorough check , prescribe medication and give me advice. Too often we are quick to complain when services are not delivered well so I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to Alison for her excellent care and attention.

Both myself and my family have always received excellent care and service from the staff at Tudor Practice. I have always managed to make appointments, and the triage service is excellent - it allows you to speak to a doctor and then if necessary attend in person to discuss your condition. All of the doctors are professional, attentive and courteous. Receptionists are also considerate and helpful. The Nurse Practitioner does a great job and is another good idea to help patients to get treatment quickly. Having been to other surgeries over the years this one is the best and I can whole heartedly recommend their services. Keep up the good work!

1 I was not impressed by an apparently overweight doctor suggesting that I went on a diet! 2. I was less impressed when the same doctor all but refused to reissue a medication prescription as a matter of policy! 3. the same doctor also failed to respond to my symptoms/discomfort. date of appointment Mid February 2015.

Superb response to a telephone request for a GP appointment. Telephone was answered promptly. A return triage call from the GP was made within 15 minutes and a face-to-face appointment was made for only 40 minutes later. The receptionist was pleasant and efficient. Unbeatable service. Long may it continue.
