I find that DR M Dugas is very caring and will listen before asking questions then take the time to investigate your files before making her diagnosis. I would recommend this surgery to anyone as all the staff are so kind and helpful.

The reception staff are excellent - very professional and yet also caring and understanding. The doctors, and also the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, are also first rate. They are very keen to listen and help. The service is excellent and I know I am lucky to have such a fantastic team locally. I would happily see any of the doctors although I am very attached to Dr Dugas and she is excellent - very proactive and understanding. The triage system seems to be working well and I do understand why it is needed. It presents some practical difficulties as if you are unsure when you may be called in to see the doctor, particularly if you take the call at work. Overall... fantastic!

Surgery does not seem to have a process for regularly monitoring older people and advice is not the same from person to person, especially from nurses in the practice and between practice and the hospital.

I spoke to a receptionist who took information re my problem. She arranged for my preferred doctor to phone me which she did. After a brief discussion my doctor asked me to go to see here. I was very satisfied with my face to face meeting. All in all I found everything quick and efficient - the slowest part was waiting for the call to go through in the first place and that was down to the number of callers rather than the surgery.

The triage phone call system led to an appointment within the hour. The GP, Dr Ingham, was extremely helpful and friendly. The service was excellent throughout.
