I am totally and utterly disappointed with this practice and the so called econsult service. I tried making an appointment to see a GP and after having waited for 40 minutes on the phone was told that they couldnt make appointments and I had to ring back at 8.30am the next morning!! I then decided to contact econsult.... filled out the long form and answered many questions and gave as much detail as possible. I get a call this morning from one of the doctors, asking what was the problem!!!! Do the doctors actually read the forms that are sent on the econsult? I had to go through it all again, so what is the point of filling out the forms? I still couldnt get an appointment and was told to come into the surgery to pick up some forms to book a blood test!! Why cant I get an appointment with a GP to actually look at the problem rather than being told to go for a blood test without anyone actually looking and checking my problem?

Given me an appointment with a GP!!!!!!

Repeat prescriptions via email internet a complete farce, with no repeat prescription being carried out on three recent occasions. This then involves phoning, waiting generally for over 20 minutes to get a response, then having to relate all details to get a repeat prescription raised.

Check the internet repeat prescriptions and then ensure that the prescriptions are raised. Hardly rocket science!

E-consult and Torringtonpark GP receptionists playing games wasting my time when I been trying to get an appointment since friday! Waited 10th may the whole day for the doctor to tell me to book an appointment on the 11th may. Which I did and when I did they said to call 4 to 5 days later. How does it make sense to call in 4 to 5 days later with the chance of them saying the exact same thing they told me today. This service is absolutely terrible and really believe they need to better their service as soon as possible because this econsult service doesn't seem at all professional

Go back to using patient access to book appointments. What is this e-consult thing. A horrible time wasting service

It was very easy to arrange an appointment, and I was seen quickly. Nurse Tito made me feel really comfortable during my consultation, and eased me in to the procedure I was due to have. Tito was very friendly, and warm, which made the experience much better than anticipated. Thank you.
