Waiting since 11th February 2022 for results of tests, the practice lost them told to contact the Royal Free to get them but no contact detail whom to contact. Now 15th March 2022 and still no results. e-consult does not work told to book an appointment and given appoint on 4th April to review test of 11th February totally unsatisfactory!

Suggested improvements
Talk to people rather than hiding behind e-consult

The receptionist and duty Dr (Nisha) were polite, professional, listened and responded.

Suggested improvements
Put my test result on the system sooner. Contacted me to let me know a repeat test was needed.

Yet again I have been given an appointment over a month after contacting the surgery. The receptionist was rude and condescending on the phone when I explained that the e-consult website had crashed. Having to wait a month to review heart medication and results from neurology tests is just not okay. The whole appointments system needs to be rethought as it is extremely stressful.

Suggested improvements
Sue on reception is fantastic. The rest of the reception staff need to be trained in how to speak to people. Patronising and condescending conversations at any time are unhelpful, it is worse when you are unwell.

I had a Telephone appointment booked for today. I provided the Practice with both my Mobile and Landline numbers. But despite keeping (both) my Mobile and Landline phone lines free all morning, I did not receive any calls (nor voicemails) to my Mobile, nor to my Landline number. Yet, at the end of the morning, I received a text-message from the doctor saying he had cancelled the appointment because he had been unable to get through to me. I am very disappointed with this - even if my Mobile number wasn't getting through, I would have expected the doctor to have tried on my Landline instead, or atleast have tried my Mobile several times more. Given this current age where patients are having to rely so heavily on telecommunications, I would have expected the doctor to show a bit more patience and understanding by trying several times, rather than just immediately cancelling my appointment so easily. Given how incredibly difficult it is to book an appointment at this Practice anyway (due to them always being booked out in the mornings), I find this incredibly unfair, as it leaves me back at square one again without an appointment.

It's obvious the practice is overworked and is stretched to breaking point. It is incredibly stressful waiting on the phone for between 30 minutes and an hour ...yes an hour, particularly if you are unwell. If you do get through you always speak to a different Doctor and if it's an ongoing condition you have to explain and answer questions, because the Doctor doesn't know you and maybe doesn't read the notes properly. I realise it must be incredibly difficult for the Doctor too. Unable to build a relationship with a stranger, really acting in my opinion, like a highly qualified, overpaid call centre operator. It's no wonder Partners leave at 60. It must be so demotivating. And they are so busy as a practice, dealing with matters of life and death, they are ignoring the correct protocols in dealing with non life threatening conditions. I know, because I have researched my particular condition and I feel I'm out on my own. That's OK, I'm intelligent and responsible. What about those who aren 't? I have been really disappointed I have been unable to build a continuos relationship with a Doctor and I am sure that on the other side, the doctors are frustrated they don't have time to get to know their patients,

Suggested improvements
Well, there is a lot you can do better as regards the doctor/patient relationship; but under the circumstances of a practice with too many patients and too few partners, it seems to be an impossibility. You are doing your best under very trying and difficult circumstances.
