The GP had read my notes and was empathetic, caring and professional. She asked questions, listened well and explained what she could do fully and clearly. We agreed on a referral to a specialist.

After my consultation last week I felt I'd popped in to dictate notes as more attention was given to typing than to my problems. The Doctor didn't know anything about my health record and wasn't up to date with how parts of the NHS work together .
