I wanted to leave a review as I came for my flu and covid vaccine recently and just to preface, I am extremely grateful to the NHS and its staff for providing these to me. I came into the pharmacy area where they were conducting the jabs and was called into the room/cupboard which really didn’t seem clean. The man administering the jabs although lovely, had no gloves on and did not wash or sanitise his hands between patients, he did not clean the skin down first and there was a open bin full of needles ( not in a sharps bin) Now I don’t claim to know normal vaccination procedures, however it didn’t sit right with me and overall I felt very uncomfortable. I have never submitted a complaint before, however when it comes to the health of others, I felt it was necessary to say something as the majority of people getting the vaccinations now are immunocompromised and it could really have a negative effect on them. Thank you.

Wear gloves/ make sure your hands are clean before administering injections. Prep the skin properly, Do not have sharps out in the open. Make sure the area is clean.

Thorpe Health Care surgery is within walking distance, which is very useful When available, the receptionists are very helpful and professional. The waiting area is clean and has plenty of seating, plus the use of the pharmacy next door.

It would be greatly appreciated if the surgery was open daily. When phoning for an appointment, it would be useful to know, inadvance, which surgery the patient would be attending, Thorpe or Sprowston, so transport arrangement can be arranged.

On the 19/3/25 i had appointment at thorpe with the nurse Jan for a check up she was brilliant,very caring and understanding lady would highly recommend.

I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to convey my appreciation for the kindness and support I have received. I have needed more appointments in recent years and have been fortunate to have encountered many kind and helpful members of staff. It is very much appreciated.
