I can tottaly recommend this clinic I'm in my 30s and finally made a decision about the circumcision being done I have chosen Thornhill Clinic mostly because of the positive reviews I have found about this place The staff was professional and friendly, the atmosphere was good, the rooms were clean I spent less than 2 hours in the clinic Now few weeks after I feel great and everything is fine - I am definitely satisfied with the results

I had a Frenuloplasty at the clinic. The Clinic is great, staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Dr Khan did my operation and has explained everything to me in detail. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others

For the best care of your child and if you wa t your childs circumcision to be done by a proper urologist then please avoid this clinic. They will say it will be done by a urologist A.R khan whoever.Who is more likely commision base in thier clinic.Who has a full time job in another hospital somewhere .Who is never there. The end result will be that you will be paying so much extra but getting a circumcision done by a un proffesional doctor or a trainee.Who has no expeirience of doing the ring procedure treatment but rather does it like the old days.cuts and stiches. It well more likely to take an hour or so for the operation to be done with agony and pain which your child has to bare for nothing.I nearly went into the same situation. But i refused and i got my full refund back from a rude manager after we ended up arguing with him.He tried to presuade me to do my sons circumcision with the normal doctor availble who had no reference on thier website.Whos name is Dr.Amin.But my appointment was with the urologist specialist who i figure out later was never there. But all was done with a cheaply paid trainee Dr.A.R Khan. After that incident i booked my sons circumcision with The East London Mosque circumsion centre.Which is based at the newly built Maryam centre. How lucky i was.It only took 10/15 minutes.no stiches.Just a ring. All neatly done with 2 proper urologist and it only cost us £180 against what we wouldve paid which was £325.There after care service is also very proffesional.2 doctors moblie numbers were given for 24 hours care.i called them a few times they replied instanly either with a text message or phoned after a little while or chatted via whatsapp messenger. My son fully recovered in 2 weeks. He was also given antibiotics and drops if he was to develop any pain.So this is just to aware.Avoid at all cost.

Response from Thornhill Circumcision Centre

The Thornhill Circumcision Centre prides itself on its excellent customer service, professionalism and care we give to all our patients and parents. To receive this review in light of the following information is not a true reflection of the clinic’s ethos:- Dr Amin is the Medical Director at The Thornhill Clinic and is a senior medical team member who has completed over 5,000 circumcisions since his tenure at the clinic, he is highly experienced in the ring method of circumcision as well as the stitch method. Dr A. R Khan is the Clinical Director at the Thornhill Circumcision Centre and works at the clinic on set days in the month. He is again a very experienced surgeon and has also completed more than 5,000 circumcisions. He is a highly regarded Paediatric Urology Surgeon based at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. Dr A. R Khan did not see your son on the day of your scheduled appointment because he was sick on that day. The reason we did not operate on your child was due to the fact that he was not co-operative. In the last few audits, it showed that the best practise is to circumcise with stiches for children over 5 years old as the ring method has more complications in this age group. If the child is not co-operative and under stress our holding policy for the procedure does not allow us to restrain the child, we therefore postponed the procedure in the best interests of the child. As the father became aggressive and rude to senior management we respectfully gave a full refund (generally not our policy) and asked you to leave the premises. Dr Amin cancelled the operation mainly because:- a) parents are verbally abusive. b) the procedure would not be safe to perform under local anaesthetic and would be better performed under general anaesthetic due to the child’s non co-operation. Our patient’s safety is of utmost importance and on this occasion it was deemed not suitable to proceed.
