On the 9th Sept I saw Dr Tapping due to a back injury the day before at work, Dr Tapping diagnosed that I had damaged my facet joint and put me on pain relief and diazepam to relax and stop the spasms. As i am still suffering spasms and back pain and, it is unlikely due to my job involving heavy lifting I called the surgery today (11th) to make an appointment to see Dr Tapping next Tuesday to review my condition and, get a medical certificate. I explained this on the phone to the receptionist but, I was told you cannot book an appointment you have to either turn up at the door or, phone on the day !! What are things coming to I am due to the medication unable to drive and so need to arrange getting to the surgery as its too far to walk and you can't make an appointment? It is now a case of phoning on the 15th in the hope I can see Dr Tapping and be able to get a certificate for my employer.
