I've been with the surgery for years and it's near impossible to get seen by a doctor. Takea hours to even get through to someone in the first place. It's the last thing patient's need when we are ill!
Very helpful caring staff, much easier to get an appointment if you use e-reception saves queuing on the phone.
Have always been helpful and friendly with me, no complaints.
The medical care is superb, the problem is with their staff.
The receptionist was extremely rude, clearly thinks very highly of herself and her own opinions, and nothing of patients. Why is this person employed in such a sensitive position? Receptionists here used to be lovely kind people. What went wrong and why do the partners put up with their staff causing so much distress? One of those staff has reduced me to tears on several occasions, once crying for several days. Do the Partners even realise what goes on? Please sort this out, I would hate to leave the practice after so many years just because the receptionist is so awful to patients, and leave such particularly good medical care.
Receptionist is very very rude indeed. Shows zero empathy for callers who are stressed. She is very unhelpful and frankly needs replacing by someone that actual cares about people.
The receptionist is very unhelpful, very rude, and in one case caused very considerable distress to a patient, leaving that patient close to serious harm and most assured by said receptionist that they were most definitely not going to get any help from this practice.
There are a couple, maybe more, of very good doctors at this surgery, getting blood from a stone is easier than accessing one,. It is appalling that someone with this attitude is permitted to work in a patient facing role, causing such pain and distress. One should be able to trust the doctors' staff, this one could be trusted about as far as one could throw a concert grand over one's shoulder.
