I have been a patient at this surgery for many years and have been happy with the care I have received however since they changed the appointment system I find it frustrating. I now have to wait three weeks for an appointment and can only discuss one problem. You can only be seen on the day if it is urgent also it is difficult to see a particular doctor.

My family and I have always received excellent care, advice and treatment at the surgery. They are particularly good with my children, for whom I have never had a problem getting an appointment. Thank you!

Always a pleasure to visit this surgery.Helpful staff, great Doctors.Clean..nice enviroment. My daughter was diagnosed with a heart defect just after we had joined the Rowans Surgery..I had been to my previous surgery many many times with her in a matter of weeks because I knew there was something wrong... and they never picked up on it.The care we got from the Rowans was incredible..Cant fault them.

The surgery is awful at getting a patient seen or talking to a doctor at convenient times. The times for telephone consultations are not friendly to the normal work day. Having the duty doctor available during the lunch period would help ease this issue. Very difficult to get reauthorisation for a repeat prescription, problem exacerbated due to above issues with speaking with a doctor. Where only blood tests need to be looked at for a reauthorisation of a repeat prescription, it seems unnecessary and unhelpful to request an appointment with the patient. There should be a passive way to be able to deal with this process, eg. an email request system. Multiple mistakes in the writing of prescriptions, on multiple occasions. Difficult to resolve due the problems with contacting a doctor to notify and request the correct changes.
