I have been with this practice since 1981, I have been treated by all of the Doctors registered with the practice over the years, and have found them to be very thorough, good listeners and extremely good with diagnosis of various problems. My mother is also a patient at this surgery, now 93 and very frail, the care she receives is exceptional. My daughter and her family are registered with this practice. I would recommend this practice, with no hesitation to anyone looking for good doctors, and good helpful reception staff.

I find getting an appointment very frustrating. We are told to phone around 8am to get an appointment and when you dial the number you just get a busy tone. I have also noticed when in the surgery that reception staff hardly ever pick the phone up its ringing if they are dealing with a with something and even then are very slow. If this was a business then the business would definitely fail. Also if you ask the receptionist any questions about the not getting any appointments they just shrug their shoulders and say we can't do anything that. I have asked a few times to speak to the office manager and they say she is busy or not in. I have asked her to call to me back but she hasn't called me back. I think the surgery should do a survey with the patients to find out what they really think.

I find it really frustrating trying to get an appointment, so much so I often delay it as long as possible before I try, the surgery is miles to busy but are still taking on new patients, this I find really strange as they are not able to cope with the number they have. The surgery does not seem to cater for people that go to work, I can never get a late evening or early morning, appointment, also the emergency appointment system is hopeless, you may need to see a doctor urgently but still have to go to work, and if you are lucky enough they offer you an appointment in the middle of the morning when you may already be at work. I do not understand why they have a large number of Lambeth residents, as the surgery is in Merton, when myself and my partner were registered at a Lambeth practice off Streatham vale, they deregistered us, saying they were not funded for our care.

This is a very busy surgery so it's hard to get an appointment, today I called the surgery for over two hours and the phone wasn't even answered (06/05/15). When you do get service though, most of the staff are extremely helpful; especially Dr Hughes from a clinical point of view and Jan from a reception admin view. Although there is a member of the admin team who is extremely unhelpful, comes across very rude and I've seen her upset a few patients with her behaviour, really does give a bad impression of the surgery and lets the rest of the team down, such a shame as everyone else appears to be super helpful and customer focussed!!

Use better discretion for patients running late. Consider if they have called ahead and what their reasons are. If it's a one off or if they late continuously etc
