There are never any appointments even when you are told to ring at 8.30 am on the dot. The receptionist ( or care navigator (!)) decide whether you will be given the privilege of an appointment and I can only presume they have sufficient clinical expertise to decide whether a patient is ill or not. I have tried twice to make appointments in the past two years having not bothered the surgery for roughly the past twenty years. Neither time was I allowed to move past the receptionist. So its impossible to know if the doctors are good or not.
Suggested improvements
Make it easier to get an appointment or at least speak to a doctor not be diagnosed by the receptionist. Not be told by the receptionist that I don't understand what state the NHS is in.

Great surgery except for 1 or 2 receptionists who really need to cheer up a bit and not talk to patients the way they do
