The medical advice given and the support from surgery have been outstanding. Care start at the front desk where the reception have been a fantastic help. Supportive when needed and always gone out of their way with any inquiries that I have had. All of the doctors, including the Trainee doctors have been very supportive, explaining symptoms and possible care and treatment. I have never left the surgery feeling my questions have not been answered. I have always felt reassured with my prognosis and resulting treatment.
My care from Dr. Marshall was excellent. She was very attentive and seemed genuinely concerned for my well-being.
I think the only thing that could be improved is a little light entertainment in the waiting room for example a bit of music or TV with useful information on.
Rung the practice at 12:43 - We-31-05-17, to make an appointment for ear irrigation. I was told by the lady (who didn't identify herself), that I would need to make an appointment with a doctor first. When I said I had been putting ear drops in since Monday, the first available appointment was 14 June, almost two weeks away. I reluctantly accepted the appointment. But I do feel that two weeks is a long time to be deaf and have Tinnitus in one ear.
It is considered good practice for those answering the phone to give their name.
Appointment options were very limited for this treatment.
I have always be treated with great respect. Thank you.
Possibly a bit more time slots- improve.
Quicker emergency seeking improvement.
However the doctors do try and help you very much. Most of the time they are spot on with the diagnosis.
To not have the doctor ask you what you think it is, since you're at the GP to find out exactly what it is, otherwise you wouldn't be there (improve).
But this GP surgery is very good to high standard though.
