The Lander Medical Practice

I have been a patient under this clinic for 16 years now with a very long and complicated medical history, along with the unfortunate near death experiences twice last year resulting in my admission to two different intensive care units, induced into a medical coma on one of these admissions and 14 hour long surgery in the second. This practice were and are the doctors responsible for keeping me alive before these awful experiences and since. My doctor, Dr McEvoy, is highly recommended, takes time to make complete examinations, always returns phone calls, and cannot possibly do any more than she does to help and support me. This practice is excellent, any time I call the receptionists are helpful, polite and patient, the surgery is modern, clean, multi disciplined and focused on continued great patient care. The practice contains around 10 doctors so even if my GP isn't in, there is always someone willing to help and call back. I have been made quite disabled unfortunately due to my illness, yet if I cannot travel to the practice they have no problems arranging either a home visit or an urgent call back. It is incredibly reassuring to have the constant access to urgent medical advise if needed and the regular treatment under one GP who goes to extraordinary lengths to maintain a respectful, understanding and caring relationship even with multiple consultants and and coordinated care with 3 hospitals, 2 out of the county. 10 out of 10.
