Fobbed my wife of about her blood pressure, told nothing to worry about at over 200 and most of the time over 150, this is causing her real problems but dont seem to care, she has just about given up and is so fed up at the lack of care i can come home and find her in tears, she is such a lovely person she wont complain but this is disgraceful and is time they did what they are supposed to do and provide a duty of care, she also has tinitus which is driving her crazy and again nothing done just told to go home and take paracetamol, this seems to be the miracle cure for every ailment with them, gone private on this and told has inner ear problem, not what was diagnosed at the practice which was hard ear wax, as on checking no ear wax at all, would not refer anyone to this place just not goo at all.
I have been with this practice for 10 years and cannot speak too highly of it. The doctors have always responded promptly to my phone calls. During the last few months a nurse has visited me at home to take my monthly blood sample.
I’ve been with the practice all my life the care I got after my surgery and before for a lung removal I can not thank the surgery enough there wen ever I need them especially dr Solomon who is there wen ever I need him they are not praised enough for the work they do
I personally think this surgery is very good, when i hurt my toe they kindly gave me some plasters and discussed how to care for the foot injury. They were very friendly, empathetic and caring. There has been times i have come to visit for other health problems and they have been really good, so good a friend moving to the area asked which one was best to go for and i advised to come to the lakes as it is nice and small. And they do spend time with patients listening, from someone who had some bad experiences from other practices, i would say that i would rate this higher than most been to. When i had a complaint once they listened to what i was concerned about, and dealt with it promptly and well. They all all human beings, and we are not always perfect every day even us people needing care from time to time.
I was extremely satisfied with my care in relation to my care.
Being syringed and an accumulation of debris removed by a friendly nurse who gave a full explanation of the procedure and reasons why the patient on most occasions can remove the wax. In my case I tried the pressure gadget but found it inappropriate as nothing was removed and I was once told by a practice doctor "never put anything in your ears except your elbow" putting too much pressure on my drums was painful so I would prefer an experienced nurse to this for me.
