The poor & thoughtless attitude of the staff

Be more considerate & treat the patient with compassion. Read the notes before seeing the patient to be aware of their medical background. Their age. Their previous & present medical history. Surely this should be done anyway!!??

Professionally run practice. with service sometimes outstanding, for example my son saw the GP, had a blood test in the surgery and received a telephone call from the GP with the results all on the same day. The phone lines are often very busy and it can easily take a week to get an appointment. However, I am confident that when it is urgent they will do whatever is necessary. They are good at arranging telephone appointments, which is an excellent way of saving time as a face to face meeting is often unnecessary. They are reasonably good at keeping to appointment times (it is important to remember that waiting room time is largely the fault of patients who don't turn up, not the doctor).
