I was told that the practice wasn’t going to do the blood test that I needed for my cancer care. As a patient with prostate cancer and on active surveillance with the NHS I found this most distressing and unprofessional. The nurse had to go and check twice with reception etc whether she could do the test or not. I have been with this surgery for over 35 years and found this to be very unprofessional and not helpful at all with my condition.
