Some very confusing communication but also not the right kind of communication initially. It has taken me more than a week to get my very necessary and somewhat urgent prescription.I have made 3 visits to the surgery and several calls.I have had to contact a hospital.I have visited the pharmacy 3 times. This could all have been speeded up if the doctor had taken some initial time to talk to me and used some professional expertise and initiative instead of responding only to computer records she chose to prioritise, creating more work for me and other staff at the surgery. This is not the first time I have encountered this 'computer says no' attitude. With persistence I did get the prescription in time..but this makes the few minutes I initially received so worryingly inadequate and a total waste of my time and the doctors.

Extremely busy doctors surgery. Appointments to see the doctor are not easy to obtain. You have literally call at 0830 to obtain an appointment suitable for you on that day. Unfortunately you can book appointments in adavance, which doesn't help suit busy work schedule. When you do get an appointment it's rarely on time; a 15-40 mins wait time after your schedule appointment time seems to be accurate. The receptionist are never cheerful, they can be a bit patronising at times, especially when talking to someone who's first language isn't English. But they are in fairness very busy, they always seem to be do doing something. The surgery in all fairness is probably struggling with doctor, patient ratio. But I hear more are opening in the borough that should take a load off.

I'm a pregnant patient (20 weeks)who ask( the blood test showing that I'm very low on Iron) to the receptionist to book an appointment for prescription for iron and something for hemorrhoids(because i lose blood) shes answer me that i don't need one and to pass with the letter from the hospital for the doctor to give me the prescription.Getting there she was very arrogant and rude with my sister who try to explain that i really need the iron. The receptionist was very piss-off and she did not listen to nothing that we try to explain, saying that is not urgent.( I'm ex anemic with very low hemoglobin, low iron level and mum who died of MDS) . The worse experiences of my pregnancy and my midwife was very concerned about how they treat me, and still i did not receive the appointment asked.

I have been with this surgery over 10 years I have never had issues getting appointments or with anything up until Laura a receptionist joined. She either does not know how to do her job or does not want to do it. Laura has a terrible attitude and is in the wrong position I will be writing a full complaint about my experience today
