Both Dr Jean Johnstone and all the nurses beginning with Sandra were instrumented in saving my life and having my fistula resolved. Not forgetting the determined organising of practice manager Julie Hill!
Thank you is too small a ward to use!! What an exemplary team of our NHS is the Grange Practice!!

I saw Dr. Bannon today with an emergency appointment. When I entered his room he apologized for over running his time. He listened calmly to my concerns, then phrased his explanations sympathetically and politely. Then offered to examine me and asked inf I wanted someone with me in the room. After the examination he printed out fro me information relating to my condition, prescribed some ointments and explained how to use it. At all time I felt at ease and trust his professional judgement.

Temperature outside today 7.9.16. Is 26 degree c. My pregnant daughter came to an appointment and waited in waiting room for the standard 20 minutes in sweltering heat actually dripping with sweat. Another waiting patient nearly passing out from the heat asked the male receptionist if there was air conditioning only to be told that it had been turned off because HE was cold. I'm guessing he is neither, ill, old or pregnant but I am guessing he does not give a single care for all the twenty odd patients sweating and fanning themselves in the oven that was the waiting room. My daughter was asked to wait after her appointment but could not bear another moment in the airless room

Doctor Maiden-Tilsen is the best doctor I have ever had. He listens, he cares, he explains everything in terms that are understandable. He is approachable and I don't feel intimidated by him as I did by my previous GP.
