Once again I have been let down by this surgery. I have been taking some medication for 7 months, I was happy and my issues and they had settled down. I order repeats monthly without any problems. I went to the pharmacy that normally deal with my repeats to be told that they only have one of two items, not a problem, I agreed to pop back the next week. Went back on Tuesday only to be told that they cannot get my medication due to shortages. I was told to ring around other pharmacies and then to contact my GP. Spoke to a very nice sympathetic lady at boots who informed me that it was a problem everywhere trying to get this particular medication. I tried to contact my GP surgery, could not even get into the queue, just cut off. I decided to complete the Econsult. I got a reply stating that I would be contacted no later than Wednesday 18.30, Of course that didn’t happen. I tried to contact them Thursday but they were closed due to training. Hopefully training in communication skills or patient care? No contact on Friday. Basically just been left with no medication. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful the way they treat their patients. Surely can’t be good for you to just stop medication, dangerous and wrong on all accounts.

Pre Covid it was becoming increasingly difficult to see your own doctor OR in fact any doctor. Now with their rubbish triaging system getting to see a doctor or even speak to one is IMPOSSIBLE!! I have thrice requested to either have a face to face or telephone consultation my doctor in the last 18 months, twice been passed to a nurse who on both occasions has said "I don't know why they have placed you with me" well you ask them!! I requested to see my Dr!! This time I have had a headache for several weeks as I could count the headaches I have suffered over my 62 years I requested a Dr consultation, unfortunately I did say I wondered if it was related to the statins I have been on for about 4 months. What do I get a call from a lady whom I think was the person responsible for issuing prescriptions!! Choice either stop taking the statins for a while or change to another type!! So, they have assumed that it is definately my medication causing my headaches, general lethargy and tiredness!! Patient care APPEARS TO BE TOTALLY LACKING NOW!!!

Honestly can’t believe the service that this surgery offers !!! Especially the the vulnerable patients it’s shocking how they leave there patients in these medical conditions and they don’t care what’s so ever ! These people have worked for 30-40 years & they can’t even receive the care & treatment they cortically need 4 weeks for ultra scan which the patient agonising pain which they can’t sleep & at 78 this unacceptable service … I am absolutely disgusted in this service it’s shocking how they expect this person to cope with this gruelling pain for 4 weeks .., no care no compassion no nothing !!!

I had three appointments on this day; 1) booked by telephone the previous week, and the appointment was helpful and thorough in resolving my concerns. Doctor was friendly and welcoming. 2) was a cryotherapy treatment, booked following 1), for the same day and again was thorough and professional. 3) was a nurse appointment for B12 injection and booked by reception immediately after 1) but only because I enquired about the status of this ongoing care. I had previously telephone and left a message to chase this up 2 weeks ago which seems to have been ignored/mislaid. I had a blood test taken as per the Nurse's instruction, who also informed me that a further injection course would be done, and yet this was not followed up by the team. If I hadn't intervened and pointed out the procedure myself, I do not think this would have been actioned and my results/need for further treatment would have slipped through the system. Admin seems to be a slight hiccup with the surgery, as on other occasions I have had similar problems whereby I have had to chase things and/or spend large amounts of time explaining issues.

I have spent 45 minutes trying to speak to appointments with no avail, need to book appointment Husband who is displaying symptoms of Pneumonia again, i have had to book him a telephone call back via the portal which is not convenient when you are not allowed your phone visible at work, absolutely shocking surgery, too many patients and not enough Doctors to cope
