I was seen by Dr Chadi Parvarandeh the trainee ( apologies if I don’t have her name correctly) but she invested time in listening to me and I felt valued. She gave me a thorough review and was highly approachable- thank you. It’s great that the practice is investing in the GPs of the future.

Whilst my -original contact was one of concern I feel it right to come back now to say how positively things have resolved. Thank you to the practice manager for arranging my consultation with Dr Sekhon and my subsequent vaccination. Dr Sekhon was incredibly thorough in his review of my notes going back to 1965 and took time to review in detail investigating and checking my allergies and reactions and then was able to provide me with reassurance on next steps. This took him several phone calls to me in the end. I felt heard and understood- it was lovely to have time to be heard and valued. I was then subsequently called by the reception team to book in for my vaccination at the GP led facility in Woking where I was also welcomed positively and listened to and reassured. Thanks so much for this- I had been so anxious and talking to Dr Sekhon really helped and I am so glad to have been able to be vaccinated personally and for wider community benefit. Thank you.

Suggested improvements
Perhaps building in a little more flexibility in the script/algorithm for the admin triage staff on appointment booking so that its not necessary to have to escalate to a complaint scenario in securing medical appointments/ access The widget has forced me to answer the rating on ease of getting appointments- I think you have A great system with the email form online to access routine care. It was just that I was originally bumped out twice by the triage.

Rang in regards for advice and was spoken down to by the receptionist within the practice..I found her to be very rude and her tone of voice was most uncalled for when I was asked to phone and check something by my work. Not needed!

Get better receptionist or at least train them on there etiquette!

I tried to submit a feedback report to nhs website saying what a fantastic Dr, Dr Gandham is. Unfortunately it’s been rejected as they don’t allow names to be recorded. I also said how much I appreciate the internet site and phone appointments.

I can't respond about whether I was involved enough in decisions about my care and treatment, whether the surgery was clean or the receptionists helpful as I've been on hold for 1 hour and 2 minutes currently trying to book an appointment. I think I'm only moving up the queue (started as third in the queue) as other people are giving up holding.
