Doctors are very helpful and pleasant when you finally get a appointment, receptionists depending who you speak to are generally pleasant but one lady is very rude and impatient, needs to be trained in how to deal with the public
I was told that nurse test you urine at the surgery . I was to go down and they would test this .as I thought had all symptoms of this infection . I waited 3 hrs in surgery .and asked at the desk how long I would have to wait they said another hour before the nurse would test my urine . I was in lot pain running to bathroom I could not wait any longer. I got phone call after 5 telling me that I had urine infection . This system is wrong now I have to call back into dr today to get my prescription . If I had seen dr on that day would have been more comfortable sooner .
I recently visited the Surgery and saw one of the Partners in the Practice. For a while I had been experiencing symptoms and I thought it was a particular problem. I explained my concerns to the GP as to why I thought my symptoms related to the particular problem and why it would explain all my tests had come back normal. The GP listened and offered her opinion before we reached a mutual decision of a trial of the treatment. It was really nice to be able to offer my opinion to a Dr and have them actually listen to me. After all the patient knows best how they are feeling. It made me feel better knowing that if the GP was willing to listen about this problem then I would be able to go to her with any other problem in the future.
I recently saw one of the long term Locum Doctors and he was very kind and helpful. He listened to my concerns and referred me to the appropriate departments. It’s a shame he’s not there permanently as he would be an asset to the practice.
Very difficult to get an appointment, phone at 8am each day and it's very hit and miss if you get seen that day. Reception staff very inflexible.
