I saw Dr Kivan Chandan today for plantar fasciitis, having been seen weeks before for this condition I was advised of ibrufen 3 times a day and excercises given and information on condition. Also told if symptoms persist to come back and have steroid injection on affected area . Went back with excruciating pain still in my heel. I was petrified of the thought of steriod injection into my heel. Dr chandan was fabulous and quickly put me at ease . I had the procedure done there and then and I thought it would hurt but surprisingly it didn’t! . I would recommend that if you suffer from this condition. Don’t be afraid or put off by an injection. Dr was very calm and it was done quickly and efficiently. Over in seconds . I’m very pleased with the outcome so abit of tenderness obviously but I can already feel relief from this . Great outcome!
