Absolutely rude staff very rude doctors never get appointment I call 8 AM almost 200 times and after that someone pick up the phone and they said oh sorry we don’t have any appointments call back tomorrow morning Broadway surgery is the worst surgery in Woodford Green
They ask us to call at 8am for a morning appointment, because I miss a call and incredibly busy, I cannot call back and wait on the line to be spoken to. As a result they refuse to talk to me.
I have been a patient at the Broadway Surgery for 10 years and have no complaints I have often waited for an appointment for a particular doctor to maintain continuity of care ( that's what the grown ups do ) as few appointment are a matter of life and death.
The receptionists are brilliant. Every doctor I have seen there has treated my extremely kindly and advised follow ups where necessary. The receptionist is really experienced and knowledgable.
The waiting room is extremely clean and fresh smelling unlike others i have experienced.
The toilet is spotless - all repeat prescriptions are wired over to the patients chosen pharmacy.
Finally I am greatly indebted to one particular doctor whose care and support when my husband was at end stage COPD and stomach cancer.
What surgery doesn't have locums ? the amount of paper work GPs are subject to is horrendous that's why young doctors leave and become losums because the locums
as they also earn more money.
Grow up ! What more do you want ? one.s relationship with your surgery is a 2 way street the principle doctors at the Broadway are incredibly caring of their patients and work extremely hard under difficult circumstances
Also, the GP programmes shown on tv are a complete travesty - they don't show non compliant patients but show only good outcomes. Again GROW Up !!
I have visited the surgery on the 31st of January 2020 and I have been seen by the nurse who provided the best care by talking to me very nice, making me feel comfortable and confident. She gave me all her attention during the visit, taking all the medically relevant information for my good health. She advised me about general care, blood test and nutrition. But the most important thing is that she shows (and all the NHS ) shows that they do care about the patients, which is the first thing that we have to consider. Sometimes, a nice word, a calm voice, focusing on your needs and a smile is the most important thing that we need, in order to start the health process.
I say a BIG THANK YOU NHS for all the care I have and I have always had!
Far too many locums. Inconsistent care. At least one locum did not bother to look at computer and gave inappropriate advice. They telephoned to apologise but this is not good enough.
No sense of urgency and failure to address serious symptoms on several occasions. Seem to think they are there to deflect patients and save money not to recognise and treat serious illnesses.
Impossible to get appointment
