I took a 2 question form into the surgery and ended up with a one page letter which was not what was required by the government body concerned. It took them 8 days and is a complete waste of time. Despite sending in the form with a covering note it is obvious that the secretary or the Doctor did not read the form or my covering letter. If this is their level of dealing with paperwork I hate to think what their level of care for the actual patients is. I would not recommend this practice to any one who requires a high standard of care.

I dread ringing this surgery. The doctors are not too bad, on the whole, but the running of the surgery is shambolic and disorganised, in my experience. Up to date test results appear not to be on record, for example. One of the receptionists is extremely unhelpful. I don't think patients should have to struggle so much to get satisfactory care.

I would like to thank the asthma nurse for helping me to manage my asthma so well. She has been supportive and explained things so well to me that I now understand (after 15 years) exactly how my inhalers are helping me and how to use them properly. I feel so much better :0) Thankyou

In a world where we are so quick to criticize at the drop of a hat, very few people bother to take the time to recognize and acknowledge good things and positive people. At the Birdhurst Medical Centre, I have always been greeted with and treated with great courtesy and care. The surgery is pleasant an always welcoming. I heartily recommend the practice to anyone.
