Having been a patient at this surgery for many years I cannot help but feel that the standard of care has reduced. Whilst it is easy to get an emergency same day appointment trying to book a routine appointment with a particular doctor can prove to be practically impossible and seeing different doctors regarding the same problem can result in them giving differing opinions and advice. Personally I tend to try to see the practice nurses if possible and they have always been really good.
Too many part time GP's the best by far is Dr Mc Alister but some of the rest need a bit of motivation , maybe the new premises will give them a lift , the main trouble is the inability to look at two or more associated problems at the same time, just lack of common sense really.
Brilliant practice
The doctors and nurses are usually great. Some of the receptionists are not always helpful and can be quite rude at times, orherwise it's a good surgery.
Recent visits with new doctors have been impressive and I reported my satisfaction to reception. Excellent manner
