I needed to register with a new GP. One of the practice team (Susan) was happy to explain how to register on Dr IQ, this was easy to register and there is even an application for my iPhone. I have since used the Dr IQ service, which was quick and easy to use and one of the practice team came back within a reasonable time to help with my situation, they were professional, confident and suggested how I could get further support if it needed it! This is what I would expect from a GP Practice in the 21st century! Well done all - keep up the great service.

Suggested improvements
The only suggestion I could make would ask for the Dr iQ questions to fine tuned and be more structured, I found that I had given my condition details in the first answer box and then I found I was repeating myself in later fields.

I always find the staff welcoming and helpful. I am part of the Patients' Participation Group and I know that the staff are anxious to provide the best service that they can. I worry about the future with reductions in out of hours care and the loss of walk-in facilities

I and my family have been a patient here for a whole and service is getting worse. It takes a minimum of 2 weeks to get an appointment and every single time I come for an appointment (I'm always on time 10mins early) they keep me waiting for 15 to 30mins before i see the gp. That is just poor service especially keeping a child waiting so long and they don't even have curtesy to keep me informed that they are running late. On 2 occasions I had been waiting and saw the gp come in late.

Am registered at this practice, I arrived as a walk-in1720hrs with a baby of 13 months who wasn't feeling, she even threw up in the surgery twice, I cleaned up the vomit myself (obviously I don't expect), staff were very rude with attitude! I was asked to sit and and wait till 1830 when then registered patients get seen, a couple of patients came in after me some to be seen as walk in- I know this coz I spoke to some while seated in the waiting area, to my disbelief they were seen and I wasn't, I was left seating there with 2 under twos and it's past 1930 they babies should have had dinner and already in bed. The service is utterly appalling and receptionist with very poor customer service. Am forced to move my GP elsewhere
