I have been a patient at this surgery for the past 15 years and althought things have changed, due I believe to government policies, I feel that I am very fortunate in the treatment I receive. I have never waited unduly for an appointment in fact compared to other family members living outside the area my appointments have been unbelievably swift. The whole team from receptionists to practice nurses to the doctors have the rare ability to balance professionalism ,respect and cheerfulness, not an easy remit. I am always treated with respect (sometimes sadly missing as one ages) have always been given sound medical advice and when necessary refered for further specialist treatment
I think Temple Sowerby Medical Centre can and should be held as an example for other practices to emulate
