I was lucky to get an appointment on the day, however this isn’t always as easy. Sometimes by the time you wait in the queue, all the appointments are gone and there are no pre booked appointments available. This is hard for people who work full time. I seen Dr Thompson who is very professional and understanding. She actually listens to you and is very thorough.

Offer the option to pre book appointments when there’s none available on the day. We can’t all ring every day.

Give back access to appointments, not just on the day. Dr requested to see me and still could not get an advanced booking.

This surgery seems to be well run, the reception team are helpful and efficient. The medical team are for the most part friendly and supportive, as well as knowledgeable and professional.

Although the medical team are generally very good, even when they are busy, I would ask that they may be allowed a few more minutes for each consultation, incase patients feel a little rushed. Patients may have more than one illness to be looked at. Perhaps for those patients who have an email address the medical team could use this as a reference/communication which is printed and permanent so easy to use and refer to to help the patient. Obviously more private subjects would still require face to face meetings. Less experienced Doctors may need to really probe deeper into symptoms, as the body can present symptoms which may be similar to other long-term term conditions.

Very helpful receptionist and staff. Friendly and make you feel comfortable. The prompt response is amazing.
