My monthly Prescription was sent to incorrect destination, obviously human error by surgery staff and then I was given an appt to see the out of hours doctor to which I went to and found out that it hadn't actually been made at all. Another human error by surgery staff! Both issues meant that I not only wasted my time but ended up chasing to get it corrected.

The Doctors and Nurses at this practice are Amazing but the general staff (reception, manager, prescription reviews) are abismal

Suggested improvements
The Doctors and Nurses at this practice are Amazing! But the general staff (receptionists, practice manager, prescription reviewer) are all abysmal. Not sure why but a few years ago it started to go drastically down hill. The receptionists (not all some of long standing members are great) are rude and seem to find doing thier jobs an issue. Comes across as laziness. The practice manager doesn't even respond to complaints. And the new prescription review system is dangerous!! Patients being removed from life saving / preserving medication with no warning or notification, only to have to make an un-bookable appointment to have them reinstated. The Doctors need to take back control of the practice before it's reputation is completely ruined.

Thank you for your comments. Because these posts are anomyous we do not know what your complaint is about. We do not have a new prescription review system so I do not understand why you think it is dangerous. Could I please request that you contact the practice and ask to speak to the Practice Manager. I always respond to any complaints submitted and try to come up with a suitable solution. David Harding Practice Manager

For the most part, all staff members are very friendly and helpful and the surgery is very clean and carers about patients.

Suggested improvements
During a private examination a screen was pulled across for modesty/dignity. However, there were gaps between each panel which could be seen through. This made me feel uncomfortable particularly as there was a student present.

I had a telephone consultation with Dr. Usoroh. It was the best consultation with a G.P. I have had. He listened, asked questions and heard my concerns and wishes. He came across as interested and caring.

This appointment was followed up by a face to face.
