This used to be a lovely surgery but unfortunately it has become a huge disappointment during the last year. Doctors always too busy to give the patient the time of day and now. They are also reluctant to refer the patient to a specialist. I've had to go private a couple of times which is unacceptable! This practice is losing its good status which is a pity. But I wouldn't recommend this surgery to any new patients based on its current standards and ethics. This practice needs to develop and improve services and it also needs to act on the concerns raised by the patient. These concerns are often dismissed much to my dismay. I am not the first one to share concerns regarding this practice. There are others as well.

Went with minor vision issue, dr o halloran referred me immediately to hospital with suspected stroke, was reassuring competent and compassionate. Stroke confirmed and have continued to have exemplorary NHS treatment from various hospital departments. Can't thank dr o halloran enough for his swift diagnosis. Was a shock to me being 53 yrs old

We are often bombarded by services to do as much as possible on-line nowadays. This includes the on-line repeat prescription service. We are told; it's easy and hassle free! For the last two times now I have found that the collection side of this not to be so. A good four days after the initial request on-line (which l will say is a very easy process). I went into the chemist side of the surgery (which as we know is a matter of yards from the surgery front desk) to request the prescription that had been ordered, only to be told that they didn't have it. Perhaps l would like to walk through to the surgery and ask for it, l was told!! On doing this (something which l felt should not have been up to me to do), l found that the surgery had the prescription in their little box. On both occasions l made a point of looking at the date when the prescription was printed, low and behold it was three days ago! So would l be right in thinking that it's been sat there for those three days? If not it's still a total of four days that nothing has happened with it. On going back through to the chemist l queried this strange lack of a service which required the patient to be "the middle man" to see the process come to an end. I was told that perhaps l should phone them direct to by-pass this system and to have the prescription waiting for me at time of collection?? To say that l ended up walking out of the surgery a second time very frustrated is an understatement. To have some sort of "link up" between the surgery and the chemist......would that not be a good thing? Regards.......Paul Elgey.

With my recent problem Dr O'Halloran has give outstanding Care, including contacting the Hospital, were I have been seen immediately, also contacting me by mobile phone to say that an appointment had been made with the consultant to see me the following morning. I have been very thankful that a problem was recognised straight away, and that Dr O'Halloran dealt with it personally. With a follow up concern Dr O'Halloran, gave me reassurance and explanation that gave me peace of mind. The standard of care given has been excellent, and faultless.

Right from the moment that you enter the surgery you are treated as though you were their main and only patient. Depending upon your needs the receptionists will endevour to get you an appointment at the earliest time possible. Whilst naturally, I cannot give a verdict upon the midwife, all the nurses are brilliant. They care, for you and give you the time that you need. I have, from time to time been seen by each of the 5 partners. Each one I have found to be highly skilled, caring and giving of their very best. I am confident to put my life in their hands at time of need.
