The practice is rather busy and this reflects on the ability to obtain an appointment to see the doctor you require, especially when asked to come back for a review. I have found an improvement in recent times with the introduction on-line booking appointments. My experience of the practice nurses has always been great.

Very difficult to get a quick online appointment with Dr McFarlane because she is very good. Also difficult when ringing as well.

The Doctors on the whole are good but the reception staff need to improve people contact the surgery because they need help and are not at their best and don't need a confrontation or 20 questions on why you need an appointment.

Doctors receptionists have a reputation of being unfriendly and unhelpful and Studholm comes into this category. Pls remember we are people too with feelings and if ill we are feeling under par and not up for a battle. We recently moved and to change address was the most difficult and ridiculous scenario through lack of time giving the advice on what to do.
