I moved to the area a year and a half ago. Signed up with stone Leigh surgery and unfortunately have had to use them quite often. All the staff are so helpful. Receptionist do the fir best to get you an appointment. Best doctors I’ve ever had.
My family and I have used Stoneleigh Surgery for years and I’ve always been very impressed with their fantastic, caring doctors as well as their kind and patient nursing staff and receptionist team who are upbeat and helpful. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment, especially for my children who are always prioritised and seen quickly. The practice is part of Livi meaning I can request video appointments as well as face to face which is useful too. Cannot fault this practice and give them the full 5 stars.
The doctor NICOLA ALOYSIUS
I feel I owe the doctor a debt of gratitude for her professionalism and first class care & attention.
The doctor is a great consultant, listen to your problem and always find the best option for the patient. You can tell she cares about people and her job.
Keep up the good work, there are patients who appreciate you. Walk with your heads held high, you shld be proud of your care. I am sure I am not the only patient in your corner!!
A Gp surgery that has a rude and patronising receptionist. Extremely difficult to make an appointment and when you do get one it is a cold unfriendly rushed experience. It is like you have 5 minutes starting from now to tell me what is wrong with you no more no less hurry up !!. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. This is an honest review from previous and recent experiences. People are told not to go to A and E as it clogs up the hospitals only go for an emergency which is true but if you need to see a doctor and you can,t wait two weeks for an appointment which is what it is here then you have to go to the hospital.
I think this practice copes well with the pressures put upon it. I would like to there not to be a two week wait for a non emergency appointment but simply blaming the practice would be ignoring the constraints it is operating under. I can see the doctors working early mornings and evenings (beyond the hours most mortals do) and I'm grateful for that. Whilst the days of deference to a doctor have moved on, I do think there is an unreasonable expectation of doctors to know everything and to always be right.
My interactions with the doctors have always been positive. I have found them happy to be challenged and they treat me like an adult in reaching an agreement on my medical care. I think there needs to be an element of reasonableness in my expectations as much as I expect the doctors to be reasonable. The modern culture is all about instant gratification but healthcare in any country cannot be reasonably delivered in this way and I try and bear this in mind when things seem to take a while.
I'm very satisfied with the care that I receive at Stoneleigh Surgery and I think the humans, because that is what they are, do well all things considered.
