All staff are extremely efficient and friendly either in person or when speaking with them on the phone. I have been seen by various doctors and all have been professional and understanding. Nothing is too much trouble. I am still not convinced though on the new call back system. This is due to employment issues, as I cannot receive a call back whilst teaching a class! I have been with this surgery for at least 20 years and would not dream of going to another surgery, even with issues on the call back system.

I know the surgery strives so very hard to help everyone! This is not always possible as there just is no capacity for the ever increasing population in the Town. If you need to be seen urgently there is always something or someone to help, there is the NHS 111 service along with the out of hours, A+E (for emergencies) and always the Pharmacy to help with medication advice AND any minor ailments. It is the ignorant and thoughtless who ruin it for the rest, by making hopeless and unrealistic demands that take up the time of the professionals who could be helping someone who genuinely needs it. It would help if the patients educated themselves on how to conduct themselves appropriately instead of throwing their toys out of the pram like spoiled children. The NHS is a free service and resources are limited! It is time the people in this country started to be accountable for their own actions and stop demanding something be done when they refuse to help themselves! I would like to thank everyone at the Health Centre for everything they do! They try their absolute best! It may not always be up-to scratch but it is a damn sight better than living in a country in which your quality of Healthcare is determined by how much money you have in your bank.........or in most cases nonexistent!

The Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists at Newquay Health Centre are most efficient, helpful and caring and polite. Am most grateful to be registered there. Maybe, the piped music could be more relaxing - or am I a grumpy old woman!!

since the introduction of the telephone triage system, it is becoming an issue in speaking to a doctor. Luckily my medical conditions have not been urgent or life threatening , however when you have an issue, you need to obtain medical advice to prevent it being a serious issue. The problem is not with just the surgery, but the whole infrastructure of the town. There are not enough facilities and services, such as GP, for which there are 2 surgeries in the town, and the building of houses just keeps growing. What will happen to the GP service telephone triage system when it encounters its first summer season, with an even greater population in the town. I hope the MIU and A&E have sufficient staff...
