St Thomas Road Health Centre

It is easy once you get in to the queue! The receptionists are always helpful & pleasant.
It is just the sheer volume of callers that stopped this being 5 stars.
It does 45-50 mins of solid ringing, hitting redial over & over from 08:30 am to get an appointment. Then a call back from a doctor, then an appointment can be made. So it's pretty hard though I guess that's down to too many patients, not enough doctors in Newquay and /or too many people phoning to see a doctor about minor things that a pharmacist or self care could sort out.
Incredibly easy if you avoid peak times to phone or use ebooking or consult online.
The reception desk staff are rude and unhelpful and don't treat you with respect, and they turn you away if you ask for help or an appointment, saying "you can't talk to us - you have to phone up."
But they don't ever answer the phone. It is impossible to get through by phone even if you sit there for 5 hours. There's no callback facility. It's in the Stone Age. They've also turned off the E-consult feature on the practice website. They've turned off online appointments. They've turned off the LIBI app. There's no email to contact them with. They've turned everything off! Newquay Health Centre has made itself completely uncontactable.
It needs investigating by the proper authorities and regulators!
It's impossible to book an appointment, speak to a doctor or sort out repeat prescriptions. Impossible.
I have always been able to get an appointment
