I had the best experience on two separate occasions with the lovely doctors at St Paul's Cottage Surgery. I was very nervous about going, but Dr Brunker and Dr Scott were absolutely fantastic. They were both so attentive and spent time listening to what I needed to discuss. They both turned to face me as I was talking which is a first in my experience of a NHS GPs who have sat on their computer while I've been talking. Each of them reassured me, understood my concerns and offered a helpful way forward to find answers.
I honestly can't recommend either of them enough - so good at their job and so knowledgeable; I felt so relieved and comforted after each visit.
Dr. Scott was extremely caring and responsive. We found the reception staff very helpful too.
It’s extremely hard to get a doctors appointment and when you do get one the doctors are always running late. I’ve waited an hour past my appointment but if I was that late I wouldn’t be seen
I always get great care from this surgery from receptionists to doctors and nurses. The thing I look for most in a surgery is availability of gps and I have never had a problem speaking to a gp even if it's on the phone. An excellent surgery.
This is the best GP surgery I've ever been a patient of. The doctors I've met really listen, and this ensures I feel that I'm being treated as an individual, and that I feel they want the best for me. They've always had a lot of female doctors, which is increasingly important to me as I age. I'd like to highlight Dr Birchill, Dr Scott and Dr Cappelluto in particular as being a fantastic support. The reception and nursing team are also worth a mention as being friendly and helpful. I feel very lucky to have this as my local surgery. Long may their high standards continue.
