receptionist lies about how busy they are. Using a mobile phone standing outside door to reception looking in.Doctors repeated failing to honour call backs.Only being offered MRI scan by a temp doctor after 10 yrs of asking normal staff ( step daughter in bedford went to walk in surgery and got an MRI scan in 9 days).Taking nearly 2 days to get repeat prescriptions sent to a pharmasist 125 mtrs away.On one occasion the pharmasist's assistant walked down to the surgery" quicker than waiting for them to answer the phone". In last 3 yrs I've asked for 3 appointments,1st was offered in 3 months and 3 days and the next one was 2 months and 24 days 3rd one was a call back and I had to do a self diagnostic on muscle spasms on my fore arm and take photographs,which I could'nt so had to ask my neighbour, who wasn't worried about face to face like my doctor was.

If you are worried about face to face appointments then get a different job. During the pandemic I got my eyes tested by specsaver in wellingborough and was checked out with just wearing a mask. The specialist was about 8-9 inches away from my face and had no trouble doing her job.I am assuming that all the medical staff at the surgery will have had preferential treatment with the vaccines and other jabs ..SO WHAT ARE THEY WORRIED ABOUT.Do you lot know something that we don't? Since the covid lock down it was sad to see so many professionals that were on full pay during the lock down refusing to return to work but still willing to claim full wages plus get paid to vaccinate people,discounts on insurance,shopping,media and new cars. The NHS staff together with the teachers have shown themselves n their true colours.Whilst shop assistants,delivery drivers,plumbers and other workers have shown their true spirit. To cap it off "what could you have done better??" you could of followed the amazing medical staff in centuries gone by who followed and up held The Hippocratic Oath
