My son has been ill for a while and we have been at the Surgery many times but the last two appointments with Dr. Qureshi was good as he listened to my concerns and gave my son a blood test to check and make sure nothing more serious was making him ill. On the day of the blood test we had an appointment and the Doctor advised me to call on Friday to find out the result of the blood test. On the Wednesday evening I received a call from Kathy at the surgery and she said that Dr. Qureshi had said we should book a routine appointment for two weeks time. I was relieved as I knew the issue was not too serious and by receiving the call it put my mind at rest as I would have worried by Friday about the blood test. Thank you Dr. Qureshi and Kathy.

In the last two weeks: A. I had a question about a test and the GP got an administrator to phone through the answer B. I brought in a urine sample for testing and had a very quick and helpful response from the duty doctor

During this week I have had to make a few calls to the surgery regarding my care, I have left numerous messages with Kath (receptionist) to pass onto Dr Long, each time my messages have been relayed to Dr Long through email and in return when I return a call to Kath the response from Dr Long has always been ready for me. I have always found Dr Long to be very clear with any diagnosis and will always give a choice of care if available, we can then discuss and agree the best way forward for my treatment.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Collins (who is our GP) since we moved to Bromley in 1981. He has cared for us and our two children, who are now adults, throughout that time. His service to us has been exemplary. I can think of no other person that I would regard so highly. When he is not available we have each been treated by various members of his team with a similar high level of care and expertise. This high regard for us as customers also cascades down to the practice staff. A recent request for support was dealt with by Kathy, one of the reception team with similar professionalism. The recent move to the new surgery has brought the practice to a new facility that is a very pleasant environment to be treated in. The introduction of the web based services has made the process of ordering repeat prescriptions it easier too. This review might read as being rather gushy, but is meant to truly reflect my opinion of Dr Collins and his team and to give my thanks for all he has done for us over the years.

I called the surgery yesterday afternoon after unfortunately forgetting an appt. After being on hold for a while I was lucky enough to speak to Kathy on reception. She could not have done more or been more helpful. After speaking to Kathy, Dr Qureahi called me. He was, as usual, extremely understanding and dealt with my issue in friendly and efficient way. He is a fantastic gp.. All in all a good day for Southborough surgery
