It’s takes forever to get an appointment. Once you get one the doctor doesn’t read your medical history and you see yourself repeating 1000 times that’s you’ve already tried the things they are suggesting. If you want an appointment with a certain doctor you need to book about 2 months in advance. As for the receptionist they are always rather moody and look very judgmental and that’s why I never book an appointment over the counter

Worst doctors surgery I’ve ever had to go to. I have tried to register with them multiple times but as I don’t have a permanent address due to a previous relationship they won’t even temporarily register me stating I am not sick enough. As far as I’m concerned if you’re a receptionist you are not medically trained. I have a medical condition with multiple complications one of them being that I have no immune system. They wouldn’t even let me register to see a doctor to get new inhalers as mine ran out. As a result of this I have been struggling to breath for over 3 weeks and I now possibly have a chest infection. Still not allowed to register. Sort your staff out

Well we’re do I begin my appointment was 5pm and was told when we got there you are next in, so we sit down and wait 5.20 we get called in, by a miserable sour faced nurse called Tina. She asked what the problem was, so my son said that he had a water infection gave her all his symptoms, she tried her hardest to not give us anti biotics, he then asked her a private question regarding him, he just wanted to ease his mind, she rolled her eyes and said ok but I am only ment to deal with one problem, after all of that she finally gave us a prescription, but said I have to get the duty docter to see it which she was then gone for another 20mins, why put a nurse on duty if they can’t bloody sign it, I then told the receptionist who showed little interest to which my reply was this surgery is a joke!........ make of that what you want

A separate enquiries part to the reception area. First thing in the morning the queue is often held up for patients wishing to make an appointment by other patients trying to sort out a problem. I know patients are asked not to use this time for this purpose but when a patient or family member is unwell, or perhaps been in hospital over the weekend, they are anxious to pass on information to their GP, discuss a prescription, etc. They may also need to get to work too.

extend the hours available to see dr's and use only the receptionists that have good people skills this is one of the main problems with this practice
