If the surgery is closed on Saturdays, it would make sense to update the “opening times” detail on the website AND amend the automated message left for patients on the main surgery telephone line. It’s almost pointless having a small notice at the side of the entrance to the clinic, because it means wasted time (and fuel) for patients arriving in the expectation that surgery hours are AS REPORTED BY THE PRACTICE, on both the website and telephone, when this practice actually advises patients to adopt the automation that it professes to depend on for its efficiency, which is almost non-existent.
