only real issue is getting non urgent appointments; also almost impossible to get your 'own' doctor
The recent innovation of electronic booking in is very helpful - to the receptionists as well as the patients, I would imagine! Also, I like the system of having a telephone consultation with a GP and, if they then say you need to be seen, you will always be fitted in.
Sometimes getting an appointment in advance can be problematic - you get told 'dates haven't been released from the diaries yet' but if you leave it til nearer the time, you run the risk of finding there's no availability/ Or, despite the doctor saying 'come & see me and the nurse on the same day', that often doesn't work out. However, I am sure these issues are not specific to this practice and I have to say I have always found the reception staff to be polite, friendly and helpful. The vagaries of vatious systems are not their fault, after all!!
My Husband and I used the Travel clinic for the first time today . We saw Marcela Elkin and the care and advice we received was exceptional. The information for our health to our destination was clearly given and we were made comfortable to ask any questions arising.
We needed injections and these were given with great care & empathy in a very professional manner.
Thank you
Not really any problems.
However seeing specialist nurses is more difficult particularly working part-time and then having to take extra time off to see a particular nurse. (Only a small criticism though.)
The nursing team did a great job caring for my injured leg over six weeks. They were all friendly and professional. Thanks
