The David Walliams sketch - "Computer says no" could have been written about this surgery. Tried to get a Phlebotomy form completed for me to take to FPH to get my bloods done. I asked on 7th September.... "Computer says you have to see a GP for that" OK can I book for sometime in September - "Computer says no appointments till October" "Can I book for October then" "Computer says no - no October appointments are not loaded yet" "OK so how do I get a form completed for my consultant - can I see a nurse practioner?" "computer says no - has to be a doctor" So how do I see a doctor then "computer says e-consult" EConsult outcome: computer says that some will review my request on 22/9 and book me an appointment for sometime afterwards BUT I don't need an appointment I need a phlebotomy form written out!

Suggested improvements
listen to your patients Lets nurse practioners write out a form - I think they are qualified! Rude receptionists who are not empowered to fix your problem but want to know all the specifics. I know what I need and I don't even want to bother a doctor I need some sqiggles on a form!

This is the worse surgery I have had to deal with ever. Trying to get a repeat prescription to meet my needs is like playing the lottery in fact I would have a better chance of winning £184 million than getting the medicines I need. There is always the stock excuse of blaming the CCG it's never their fault! I finally had to get the CQC involved to get what I needed. Don't bother using the NHS App - they ignore requests sent through that service. Also the staff are adept at lying, saying services are not available when in fact it's a patient's legal right to use that service. Don't get sick in Sandhurst you will have to wait over a month for an appointment.

Tried to get an appointment to see a doctor after the clinician burst a blood vessel when I was having my booster and have a massive black bruise so concerned about a blood clot. Phoned today at 8.00am and after 22minutes I was curtly cut off and told to phone back later as lines were busy. What do they expect when we have been told to phone at 8.00 for a same day appointment? If there are any repercussions I will hold this new service provider responsible. Having been a patient at this practice for almost 40 years I expect to be informed when there is a change of system. I order medications on line so I can easily be contacted.

Suggested improvements
Told me at the start of the phone call my position in the queue with the option of calling back later. This needs to improve for patients requiring emergency appointments

We have now removed our call queuing system - apologies for your problems - please note though that if this is a COVID booster these are not administered from the surgery

Used 2 mobiles on constant redial to get through to a queue. It took an eye watering 242 redials. Then waited another 25 minutes to talk to reception. On this occasion the Receptionist was polite. Previously they have been abrupt & rude. What has happened to this once great practice? In 18 months I've been allocated 3 different Doctors, this 1 is a Locum who works just 2 days a week. Family and friends are amazed when I speak about the poor service, they don't have these issues. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment be it on the phone, this can be in 3-6 weeks time! You have to practically beg to get a face to face appointment. The practice building is tired and dated. Things have to improve. Staff have to be more helpful. So disappointed in this practice ☹

Suggested improvements
Train receptionists properly so that phones are not only answered but they are also polite to the patients. Patient Access does not work as cannot order repeat prescriptions. Also their email service for repeats now is being checked & as its impossible to get through on the phone how do you expect patients to order their repeat prescriptions? Terrible.

apologies we have now abandoned the call queue system and have a separate team who answer on-the-day calls for emergency appointments.
